Okay, hello everyone 😊

the five line sentences above is a little bit how to introduce your self in Thai language. Before i share about today, i will share about what is SEAMEO? where i am? and why i can be there?

SEAMEO or Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization is international organization for make advance relations in education and culture on southeast Asia and this is a  2nd Batch of Southeast Asia Technical and Vocational Education and Training (SEA-TVET) Student Internship Exchange Programme.

Where i am? Yes, I am in Bangkok. Actually i am in Thai Business Administration Technological Collage for my exchange programme.

Why i can be here? is because my institution Bina Insani Collage have a collaboration with SEAMEO and in 2nd batch i apply for this programme.

I arrived in Don Mueang international airport at 11.00 AM and my coordinator teacher Ms. Irene Dela China , Mr. Tea, and one teacher from Thai-Tech collage come to pick me and my friend after that we lunch, after we are finish we went to dormitory. the dormitory is comfortable, Thai Tech dormitory have 5th floor and my room in 1st floor, the dorm have a kitchen, laundry, and also bathroom. In my room, me and my friend from another collage have a comfort bed, cupboard, and also air conditioner. overall the dormitory is clean and comfort.

Today, 3 September 2018

This Monday at 8.00 AM is start with flag ceremony in Thai Tech collage after the ceremony, me,  my friends from another collage, and also my friend from same collage is introduce our self in front of all the students of Thai Tech collage.

At 8.30 AM we have a Thai language class with a student president of Thai Tech collage, we learn many thing about language and how to attitude in this country.

We learn how to greeting, number in Thai language, directions, important verb, and a little history about Thailand. First impression if you learn about Thai language is like 'why this is so difficult?' so  if you want to learn about Thai language you have pay attention because in Thai language in some tense you have intonation like high tone, straight tone, and low tone. the intonation is impact to meaning so different tone that's make different meaning. Manners in Thailand is call ma ra yat, Thailand have 2 different gestures if we are greeting.

1. for adult: we should keep our hands, our thumbs should be till our nose then bent our head and say "Sawaddeka (for girl) and Sawaddekab (for boy)"

2. for friend: keep our hands thumbs should be till our chin and then bent your head.

So that is what our learning today.
